Brave Hearts: Nurturing Opportunities and Aspirations for Hope
Join us at MWU-AZ Glendale for an interactive and inclusive event designed for children with disabilities and their families.

This interprofessional event will incorporate a variety of student healthcare professionals from the University, including but not limited to: dental, podiatry, nurse anesthesiology, physician assistant, and speech language pathology.
Our goal is to host an event to include the following:
- Dental, foot, fitness, oral/swallowing, and vital signs screenings
- Informational resource tables on medication management, motor skills, picky eating, mental health literacy, epilepsy/seizures, and more
- Outdoor field games and fitness activities with Special Olympics AZ
Additional Information:
This event will be free to attend, but is required to accommodate all participants.
The event will be wheelchair accessible, and accommodations will be provided upon request (advance notice for specific needs is suggested!)
