Pre-Optometry Program at the Arizona College of Optometry (AZ-POP)

Undergraduate students are invited to learn about the Doctor of Optometry degree. The program runs June 22-24, 2026, and includes hands-on workshops, panel discussions, interactive lab experiences, and more. Applications are due by March 15, 2026.

Are you a college student or recent graduate interested in optometry?

Join us for an immersive three day training to begin laying your foundation of optometry knowledge. Your experiences will provide you with a glimpse into the life of an optometry student at Midwestern University.

  • Dates: June 22-24, 2026
     
  • Time (subject to change):
    • Day 1: 8:15 a.m. - 5:15 p.m.
    • Day 2: 9:45 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
    • Day 3: 8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
       
  • Location: Midwestern University 19555 N 59th Ave. Glendale, AZ 85308

There is no fee to participate. Most meals are included, but attendees are responsible for their own travel and accommodations. Must be 18 years old by June 22, 2026 to apply.
