The MWU Alumni Multicultural Council is proud to present Empower 2025: MWU Alumni Multicultural Council Day of Mentoring and Service.  Empower stands for Engage, Mentor, Promote, Opportunity, Welcome, Embrace, Respect-the core values guiding this impactful day of connection and community.

Mission Statement

The Midwestern University Alumni Multicultural Council members serve as ambassadors for the University, representing a variety of healthcare careers, cultural backgrounds and geographic regions. Contributing their perspectives, skills, networks and expertise, the Council will work together to identify opportunities to influence university priorities, support and promote diversity initiatives, and collaborating with the entire Midwestern University academic family. The Council members are all Midwestern University who represent both colleges and programs from both the Glendale and Downers Grove campus.

9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Mentoring & Networking
Event Center - 5th floor of Arthur G. Dobbelaere Support Services Hall
Complimentary breakfast and lunch included.

2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Alumni and students volunteer at Feed My Starving Children in Aurora, IL. 
Free shuttle will be provided.
